This year, as last year, with some clever course routing we have managed to fit the whole course on the parkland surrounding Dream. We have also taken into account the fact that the race has grown and constructed a course that we feel should be able to cope with the next stages of the races’ growth.
As we are running the same courses this year, there’s an opportunity for someone to challenge the course records set last year.
The course will comprise of a 5k lap and those taking on the full Dream Race will run two laps.
We think you will find the race includes a nice mix of path and grassland, uphills and downhills. We’ve managed to include all the favorite sections from previous races, you’ll even get the chance to run “that hill” twice if you run the 10k race!
The course offers great opportunities for spectating with a few points where you will see the runners pass three times. The runners will also get the chance to see Dream three times per lap (as long as they aren’t looking at the floor).
This is the provisional Course Map for the race. It may change when the Forestry Commission review the ground and cut the grass later in the summer, or depending on how un-summery summer is.
